3. Carbon management and climate reporting
Understand emissions, prioritise reductions and prepare transparent reporting.
• Scope 1, 2 and 3 greenhouse-gas inventories using applicable GHG Protocol and ISO 14064-1 methodologies.
• Product carbon footprints and life-cycle assessment using relevant ISO 14067 and ISO 14040/14044 methods.
• Inventory management plans, science-based target preparation and net-zero roadmaps.
• Climate-risk disclosure, emissions dashboards and data analysis, including AI-supported tools where appropriate.
• Carbon-market readiness, MRV and Article 6 advisory; credit selection and market-access support subject to the relevant scheme rules.
• Preparation for independent carbon-neutrality verification using relevant ISO 14068-1 requirements.

4. Disaster risk reduction and climate resilience
Connect spatial analysis with community priorities and resilient planning.
• Community-based adaptation and disaster-risk reduction strategies.
• Climate-risk assessment using GIS, remote sensing and analytical tools.
• Multi-hazard mapping and early-warning planning.

Standards matched to your project
We identify the requirements relevant to the project location, sector and agreed scope. These may include applicable EU and German environmental legislation, CSRD and EU Taxonomy requirements, relevant ISO/DIN/EN methods, WHO guidance and Afghanistan NEPA requirements. Reporting obligations, standard editions and local rules are checked for each assignment. Advisory support does not itself constitute certification or regulatory approval.

Why Daira Sabz?
Our approach brings together engineering, environmental science and social research. We combine technical assessment with stakeholder engagement, practical management plans and capacity building. German operations provide consulting, engineering and technical supervision; construction implementation in Afghanistan is delivered through the Afghanistan organisation where contracted.
