Group President & CEO
Mustafa Hasani founded Daira Sabz in 2018 to promote development and sustainability. With experience in environmental management, consulting and international development, he provides technical and strategic leadership across the Group’s engineering, mining and environmental work.
Ali Baba Behruz, B.Sc.
Vice President & COO — Afghanistan
Co-founder of Daira Sabz in 2018, Ali Baba Behruz holds a degree in Environmental Science from Kabul University. He brings experience in project management and the environment to the Group’s Afghanistan operations.
Andreas Sieber
Tax Advisor — Germany
Germany-based tax advisor Andreas Sieber supports Daira Sabz with tax obligations, accounting, financial documentation, annual reporting and fiscal compliance.
Haidar Haidary, BBA
Administrative Manager
A Bangalore University BBA graduate with over eight years of cross-sector experience, Haidar Haidary joined Daira Sabz in 2020. He supports financial systems and operational efficiency.

Dr. Mohibbi holds a PhD in Agriculture and Environmental Engineering from Japan and an M.Sc. in Natural Resource Management from AIT. His experience spans academia, land-use research, climate resilience, forestry and environmental governance.

Dr. Ahmad Walid Barlas
Head of Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning — Germany
Ahmad Walid Barlas is an economist, researcher and evaluation specialist with experience in mixed-methods research, household surveys, education, poverty, migration and development evaluation. At Daira Sabz, he leads evaluation design, sampling, data analysis, quality assurance and reporting.

Dr. Rishikesh Pandey
Head of Nepal Operations
Dr. Pandey leads Daira Sabz’s research and consulting activities in Nepal. An Associate Professor at Pokhara University with a PhD from the University of Adelaide, he specialises in food security, migration, gender, livelihoods, climate adaptation and social-ecological vulnerability.

Prof. Mohanty leads and coordinates Daira Sabz’s activities in India. His expertise covers disaster risk management, climate change, urban development and infrastructure resilience, supporting partnerships, technical assignments and expert mobilisation.
